I am an engineer at Google working in the NYC office. I received my Ph.D. from the Computer and Information Science Department at the University of Pennsylvania. My dissertation research centered on the design and analysis of approximation algorithms for various types of regression problems. Most recently, I worked with Yahoo! Research on developing some of these techniques and applying them to Data Mining problems. I graduated from Yale in 1999 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science; and before joining Penn, I worked at Oracle for 3 years with the internet file system group.
